No Receipts,
No Respect.

People don’t know what you’ve done or what you’re capable of unless you show them. Sometimes the showing is to let them know of your greatness and often times the showing is the reminder to self that you can do anything.

Looking back, before you go forward is an exercise you will find that the best leaders do.. and as a result they have strong emotional intelligence, integrity and confidence to keep going no matter what.

THE OVERVIEW

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome, An Executive Speaker Series. Asked to speak to the Employee Resource Groups of: Black Engagement Network (BEN) and Women’s Interest Network (WIN).

THE CHALLENGE

Imposter syndrome is loosely defined as doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud. It disproportionately affects high-achieving people, who find it difficult to accept their accomplishments. Many question whether they’re deserving of accolades.

MY APPROACH

Jasmine Hawthorne, Vice President, Global Campus Recruitment will be exploring imposter syndrome, the effects it may have on your professional and personal life and share useful strategies to tackle it.

THE RESULTS

Attendees learned how to recognize imposter syndrome, what strategies to use to overcome it and how to move toward their goal(s) in spite of imposter syndrome.

THE CHALLENGE

Was seeking coaching on how to lead a new dynamic global team in the middle of a pandemic.

MY APPROACH

Focusing on the relationship dynamics within her organization and how to leverage that with her own unique leadership style to drive business results. Her strategic plan included thinking through how to holistically approach the needs and wants of her key stakeholders, her new team and herself in this new role, by coaching her through a framework that would enable her to lead in a way that leans into her strengths and expertise in recruiting.

THE RESULTS

As a result, she was able to build trust within her new team, gain respect from her business partners while never wavering on the recruitment results she committed to.
